Does anyone know where I can find a new cot mattress, crib mattress, or lounge chair cushion for under $30? I want to set up a bed in the back of the E xplorer, but I’m having no luck finding anything small enough that’s also reasonably priced. Even a 1" thick camping pad is like $40. I can get a complete cot WITH a memory foam mattress for about $60, so it should stand to reason that the mattress alone can be had for like $20, right? But I just can’t find one for that sort of price.

You can get a twin air mattress for like $20 at Walmart.

I’d prefer to avoid an air mattress, just so I don’t need to worry about carrying a pump with me, but I’ll keep that in mind as a last resort.

IIRC it has an electric pump on it, so as long as you have an inverte r, you should be fine.

If you can wait until fall you can probably snag a lounge chair pad on clearance at Target or Walmart when they get rid of lawn furniture for the winter.

Check your nearest target or odd lots. The ones around me are already clearancing all their patio furniture pads. We just bought a set of replacement pads (4 pieces)  for our patio furniture for under $30 at the local odd lots. I believe individual lounge chair pads were about $12.

If you know the company that sells the cot and mattress for $60, I’d see if that same company sells replacement mattresses.
